Hi, I’m Emma! I’ve always loved playing sport, having played many different ones throughout my life and Padel of course one of my favourites. While it’s not my full-time job (that would be the dream) I’m currently in between job roles, which has given me a unique chance to focus on what I really love.

I’ve always been passionate about making sport more accessible, especially for women and children. That passion recently led me to take my L2 LTA Padel Instructor Course, while also gaining coaching experience at Rocks Lane in Chiswick and Rocket Padel in Battersea. Taking this step has honestly been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made— it’s given me a whole new lease on life!

Alongside this journey, I set up an Instagram page @exercisewith_emma to help encourage more people, especially women, to get into sport and, of course, Padel. Despite being a total novice at social media, it’s been so much fun connecting with the community and creating opportunities for kids to experience Padel. There’s nothing better than seeing the smiles on their faces after a session.

Spending time with friends who are new mums also opened my eyes to how many women struggle to return to consistent exercise after pregnancy. I wanted to help and I saw Padel as the perfect way to do it. It’s fun, social, and accessible, and padel venues offer a safe, welcoming environment for both mums and babies. That’s how Padel & Prams was born (pun fully intended!).

With the amazing support of Vic Nicholas and her team, we’re just getting started. Padel & Prams is all about creating a “happy place” for new mums to exercise, build friendships, regain confidence, and most importantly have fun while their babies are cared for in a safe space nearby. So many women face real challenges post-pregnancy, and I hope this initiative can be a source of support, joy, and community.

I’m beyond excited to see where this goes and to continue working with Vic and the incredible Padel community so mums let’s get playing Padel!
