The Role
We're hiring our first full-time Marketing Manager to join us at an exciting time. You’ll work directly with the founders to lead marketing strategy and execution across all our sites, blending big-picture planning with hands-on delivery. You’ll meet with George weekly and with James regularly via video call.
This is your chance to play a key role in shaping how the UK discovers, plays, and loves padel.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Planning
· Create and deliver a 12-month marketing plan in line with growth targets and new site launches.
· Develop membership campaigns to boost acquisition and retention
· Build tailored, location-specific strategies to grow community engagement at each site
· Support the launch of new sites with localised campaigns, events, and promotions
· Design and promote corporate packages and tournament participation incentives
Digital & Content
· Manage and grow our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook)
· Launch and build our TikTok presence
· Plan and schedule engaging content that reflects our brand and community
· Run email campaigns via Klaviyo
· Use Google Analytics and other tools to track and report performance
· Implement SEO strategies to improve organic growth
Partnerships & Community
· Build and maintain relationships with influencers, ambassadors, and community partners
· Design marketing materials for schools and local initiatives
· Identify and execute co-marketing campaigns with relevant brands
· Create buzz on the ground through events, open days, and local collaborations
What We’re Looking For
· A self-starter who’s excited by early-stage growth
· Someone who thrives on both strategy and doing – this is a hands-on role
· Strong digital marketing skills (social, email, SEO, analytics)
· Creative thinker with an eye for design and storytelling
· Confident working with founders, agencies, and partners alike
· Interest in sport, fitness, and community-building is a big plus
Essential Qualifications: • 5+ years of marketing experience, 2+ years in sports/leisure preferable • Proven track record in membership business growth • Understanding of Padel essential • Expert in Klaviyo, and Google Analytics • Strong digital marketing campaign portfolio • Experience in community building and partnerships Desired Qualifications: • Sports/leisure industry experience • Startup/scale-up experience • Direct founder collaboration experience • UK sports market knowledge • Multi-location launch experience What We Offer:
Salary Package: • Base Salary: £40,000 • 1% of turnover as bonus each month (estimated currently at £5000)
